With this award, the Bavarian state capital Munich honors the outstanding economic performance of migrant companies as well as their social commitment.
The prize, which has been awarded since 2010, should bring into focus the entrepreneurial potential of migrants. In December 2012, OSB AG was presented with the Phoenix Prize in the category of “Established Companies”.
The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology bestows this yearly award on exceptionally fast-growing medium-sized companies.
Farsightedness and creativity of owner-run companies as well as an above-average increase in the number of employees and in sales are the award-winning criteria.
In 2012, Denis Sisic, CEO of OSB AG, was presented with this coveted award.
As part of the German Founder Award Competition, the Stadtsparkasse München (the City of Munich Savings Bank) has been presenting the Munich Founder Award since 1997 to outstanding companies in the region.
In 2009, OSB AG won the Munich Founder Award.
The prize money which OSB AG received as the winner of the Munich Founder Award was donated in October 2009 to a school (Friedel-Eder-Schule) in Munich for a play sculpture. This was built by employees of OSB AG as part of a Social Day.
